I was watching a documentary on Psychopaths. Several of the so called experts stated that Psychopathy was biological in origin and could not be changed. I would say that some psychopaths were born psychopaths and others were created by extreme stress. In addition, anyone can be taught anything. Therefore, there is hope.
I do want to mention that I observed definite "lust for blood" in the some of the murderers that were interviewed for the documentary. These murderers receive great pleasure from their crimes. When they talk about them they get more pleasure from telling themselves look how much better I am than you because of what I can do in life.
The FBI has a manual on sociopath behavior. In this manual a good overview of thoughts, emotions, and behavior in the murderer is portrayed.
I mention it here because what has contributed to our psychological nature is what has contributed to the psychological nature of the most dangerous people in our society. We are a composite of Spirituality, Thoughts, Emotions, Sensations, and Behaviors.
There is a God. He created everything. True Peace, Love, and Joy come from living according to his will.
The problems in humans are depression and/or anxiety. Every person wants to be free from pain and suffering. Unfortunately, we have been brain washed to the very ideas that cause our pain and suffering. The messages that come from media are very negative.
Anxiety is fear. We are afraid that something bad is going to happen. This fear is not due from shame, guilt, or embarrassment because we have done something wrong. We are afraid that because we are not living according to the medias perception of life there will be dire consequences for us.
The idea of education-to-income is a good idea. However, some people study but do not find employment in their area of study. Some people do not even get to study. Some people study, find employment, and find them selves in a toxic work environment. Either way living outside societal expectations may lead to anxiety and or depression.
God also has expectations. Living outside of His expectations can also lead to depression and anxiety.
Anxiety and depression are the issues people want to resolve in order to be free of pain and suffering. Our Thoughts are a major reason for our hurt. We scare our selves by repeating the negative messages we see and hear in the media to our selves. The bad attitude of "Everything sucks, Nothing works. Why bother?" is very dangerous.
Therefore, our negative attitude is very dangerous. With our negative attitude we waste time criticizing our neighbor and feeling bad.
We would be better of concentrating on our selves. Our focus should be to walk away from the negative attitude and walk towards a positive attitude.
Again we should believe in our selves because we all have the ability to think, organize, plan, and act. This means we can engage information, evaluate this information, and use the right information to build and maintain our dreams.
If you want to stay obsessed with this education-to-work idea you may. However, you are powerful enough to build your destiny, even if that destiny is a taxi driver who writes blog articles.
Hunger, cold, heat, sexual desire, and other Sensations also lead to bad emotions. Sometimes we get angry if we are hungry or cold.
Emotions are related to thoughts. Negative thoughts lead to negative Emotions. Positive thoughts lead to Quality Emotions. If you want to stop being depressed and anxious then change your attitude.
The problem with negative Thoughts and bad Emotions is that they eventually lead to bad behaviors. We over eat to medicate our depression. We over spend to mellow our anxiety. We fight in order to feel something because the mundane boredom has us in serious state of depression is leaving us unable to feel.
I know that a lot of modern day depression is due to people not being able to get pleasure from life because they do not know how to live well.
I have stated before that it is a good idea to practice Simple Healthy Pleasures of Life in our 24 hour cycle. Laughter is a Simple Healthy Pleasure. Good meals are Simply Healthy Pleasures. Conversations with friends and family are forms of Simple Healthy Pleasures.
Yesterday, I was listening to Doug Stephan talking to the owner and operator of something called the School for Men. This kind of non-science is dangerous. Okay. You are living a boring life with pain and suffering and a charismatic person comes in to your life and with his demeanor he is able to numb your pain. You may start to think that this person is the smartest person in the world. However, all this person did was give you a red ball because you were bored playing with an orange ball. Eventually you will get bored of the red ball. Then he will give you a blue ball.
Look at how simple life is in reality. We were made to be spouses, parents, members of a community, friends, and family. When we fulfill these responsibilities we have a full enjoyable life. Everyday we can enjoy our selves, by being people of peace, loving and giving our best to our neighbor, enjoying Simple Healthy Pleasures of life, being grateful for what we have, and enjoying what we have in life.
Business through media tells us that iphones, ipads, mansions, Tesla cars, and other manufactured devices are necessary for a happy life. This same media tells us that lawyers, politicians, cops, bloggers, taxi drivers, security guards, and every thing else sucks. Therefore, it is not surprising that a lot of us are rather negative and suffering so much.
Our first love should be God. Our second love is us. We pursue a healthy attitude because we love our selves, and we know that by pursuing a healthy lifestyle we can be free of hurt, and live a life of Peace, Love, and Joy.
