Real Emotions Anger Sadness Fear are okay to allow yourself to experience
It is not okay to stay in the emotional experience for ever
We harm ourselves with our negative thoughts. This is not a judgement. These are helpful strategies. We have to recognize that we may of picked some bad coping mechanism as we developing in life.
It is important to be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to experience the emotions your are feeling.
Also, put things in perspective. Death and loss is a reality of life. All we can do is remember why the person was special to us. Honor the person by remembering the good memories.
Honor the person by continuing to pursue what is still good and decent in life.
There has to be time for Relaxation, Emotional Management, and Changing our negative thoughts with positive thoughts.
It is a positive that we are alive and capable of having fun.
As I have meditated on the issues of life, I have concluded life is for having fun. Yes there are times of mourning. The majority of life should be to have fun.
There are Simple Healthy Pleasures like friends, family, good music, good literature, and everything else that is good and decent in life.
Because we are capable of dealing with the life's challenge we should have reason to hope. We can pursue a fun life. We can be positive.
We have a lot. We should be grateful for what we have and enjoy life with what we have.
