Positive Ideation Tool In Relation To Stress And Anxiety
We should keep in mind that we influence our emotions with our thoughts. Therefore, we have a lot of resources that we can use to reduce and eliminate pain and suffering.
It is helpful to stop scaring ourselves with our inner voice. Negative phrases such as “I am stupid. I am dumb. No one loves me” are part of the problem.
There is no rule of psychology that states that a person has to suffer and will suffer for the entirety of their lives. In fact, psychology offers strategies a person can use to exercise his or her own distress.
It is essential that we like ourselves. There is no reason for us to be our own worst enemy.
I believe that everything starts with how we think. Moreover, I know that people with harsh emotions are scared of facing their pain. For some, the act of confronting pain brings about more pain. This additional pain may be because of the lack of confidence a person has in coping with his or her distress.
I have always recommended Stress Reduction Therapy. At the beginning of the day or when a person feels overwhelmed the person can find a quiet place to practice breathing exercises with the goal of relaxing. Most of us are fully aware of our anxiety cycle.
A second part of Stress Reduction Therapy is Positive Ideation Meditation. Once we are relaxed we can practice changing our negative thoughts to more positive and realistic thoughts.
We hurt because we have convinced ourselves that it is bad. Sometimes we convince ourselves that it is hopeless and we enter into a dark corner of despair.
This is why we need to see ourselves with our real skills of being able to think, organize, plan, and act. By thinking we can properly identify the reasons for our pain. We then can put these reasons in perspective by realizing which reasons are legitimate and which ones are not legitimate. Then we can set good goals and good objectives which will allow us to control our thoughts. Now, we can exercise telling ourselves that things are not as bad as we see them, as well as other positive messages, and participate in life with a good attitude.
I am still aware that some may accuse me of being too simplistic. At first, managing our emotions by managing our thoughts is challenging. However, the more we practice, the better we get at it. In addition, as we grow stronger, we gain confidence and our self-esteem improves.
All people are basically good. No one asks to be severely abused and given serious mental health issues. Furthermore, no one asks for continuous failures which do the same.
The reality is that we can never change the past. We can change how we live in the present.
In addition, many times we suffer because we believe something bad is going to happen. Anxiety is a state of fear and apprehension that affects many areas of functioning. Some symptoms of anxiety are tension, apprehension, a sense of impending danger and dread, and expectations of an inability to cope. Some people with anxiety avoid feared situations; have impaired speech and motor functioning, and have impaired performance on complex tasks. Physical symptoms of anxiety are muscle tension, increased heart rate and blood pressure, rapid breathing, dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea, and dizziness.
Forms of Anxiety disorders include Generalized Anxiety, Phobic, Social Phobia, OCD, and PTSD. Awhile back I coined the term “Life Post Traumatic Stress Disorder”. PTSD is seen as occurring after an experience with an event so profound that the person cannot deal with stress. Examples of the event can be rape, being a victim of attempted murder, and surviving a plane crash. My Life PTSD theory is that life can be the stress event that a person cannot cope with which leads the person to be afraid of confronting their pain. The abuse the person experienced causes intense pain and the person develops fear of his or her pain.
I believe it is this pain, that comes from trying to encounter our pain and resolve this pain therapeutically, leads to pain so intense that we eventually become afraid of pain. We are suffering. We want to stop suffering. We know the way to stop suffering is to get in touch with our pain. However, when we try to confront our fear our pain increases. Eventually we become afraid of our own pain.
This is the reason I believe many people with pain and suffering cannot work at being able to resolve their pain by managing their emotions with positive thoughts. This why I say we should start with Stress Reduction Therapy. We have to learn to manage our physiological processes that lead to our growing fear.
Furthermore, if we are not living a life of pleasure then we will start to experience pain and suffering from depression that comes from not having pleasure in life. We need friends, family, interest, hobbies, diversions, recreation, entertainment, and other good elements of life.
The Modern Industrial Experience teaches many how to be machines but does very little to teach people how to live a pleasant and enjoyable life. I believe much of modern day angst is due to people not being able to enjoy life. For one we do not know how to live well. Second, we do not know how to cope with stress.
Whether the pain and suffering is from abuse, biology, failures, or anxiety and depression from not knowing how to build a pleasant and enjoyable life which leads to us compounding these emotions with our negative attitude, we can work through these emotions. I have organized my Psycho-thesis where thoughts lead to emotions and sensations and our emotions and sensations lead to behavior. This is why I say,” have a good attitude and you will have a good life”.

The Beauty of Simplicity: Positivism
Obamacare: Time To Repeal And Replace
Certain healthcare experiences are to expensive for a person to pay for them him or her self. Therefore, a person is convinced that he or she needs health insurance.
The insurance industry has had many public relations problems. Many times these companies have violated the terms of the contract and denied the legitimate claims of the policy holder.
My big problem with Obama-care is that it forces me in to a business relationship with an industry I do not trust. I have seen reports of criminal behavior by insurance companies and through my personal experiences I have seen corrupt insurance companies.
Now, I do not have a problem with Freedom and the Free Market. In America a person is free to make a business and run it any way he or she feels it is correct. This does not mean I have to put up with their corruption.
I have done my healthcare cost evaluation. A doctor's visit would cost me approximately $100. Lab work would cost me approximately $500. Therefore, an annual health exam would cost me around $600. I am not a sickly person. I see no reason where I would encounter catastrophic healthcare situation.
In fact, the majority of people are just like me and will go through the majority of their lives without any major healthcare concerns. The percentage of people needing prolonged and extensive healthcare is around 25%.
Now insurance for me, in my market, would cost around $200 a month, with a $5000 deductible. Therefore, I would pay and insurance company $2400 a year for the honor of paying $600 myself for an annual healthcare exam.
Okay, I understand that I would also be made to make a contribution to someone else healthcare expenses. Now if I am going to be paying for someone’ else healthcare expenses, do I get to tell them how to live?
Hospitals cost money. Most experience hospitals after an emergency. The high cost of hospital care is explained in the of providing nurses, technology, labs, janitors, cooks, and every other service associated with a functioning hospital. Again, the majority of Americans will not be hospitalized in their lifetime.
I believe we can save and pay for our own healthcare exam. A doctors visit, labs, and technology-based exams may cost us 2000 a years. For most people this price is manageable.
The problem is life management. People do not factor in the cost of healthcare when they are building their lives. People make babies and do not consider the cost of childbirth. People also do not factor in healthcare for a developing child.
In my opinion, the problem in healthcare in America was politicians, immature citizens, greedy and corrupt healthcare providers. For decades the plight of the poor has been sung by certain politicians. Many people are convinced they should not have to pay for their healthcare. Crimes committed by insurance companies have contributed to a lack of trust.
Now, we have a total take over of healthcare in America by Obama-care. This take over was supposed to give access to affordable healthcare to the poor and indigent. These groups amounted to less than 15% of the American population. The 600 million Obama wasted on his healthcare website could of taken care of these poor and indigent people’s healthcare for ten years. Therefore, the goal of Obama could not of been to help the poor.
Obama could of tried a program of healthcare grants to states to provide healthcare for the poor. Obama could of tried tax breaks for doctors, clinics, and hospitals who provide healthcare to the poor. Obama could of tried discount cards for the poor that the poor could use to buy medications, lab works, and hospitalization at a reduced price.
Everyone else would get their healthcare in the private industry at regular prices. The free market fuels innovation and creativity. New procedures, new technologies, and new medicine are created by people interested in making a profit.
There isn't anything wrong with making a profit. There isn't anything wrong with being personally responsible for our healthcare.
Healthcare in the Free Market is a better system. Providers have to keep their customers happy. Prices would reflect what the customer is willing to pay: Not an artificial government controlled low price or an over inflated insurance price.
We the consumers are caught been the greedy who want to bleed us to death and the politicians who also want to bleed us to death. Now, we have no control over insurance companies poor behavior. Obama is forcing us all into a business relationship with insurance companies. An incentive for improvement is loosing customers.
However, we are going to loose access to healthcare. Many doctors are choosing not to participate in Obama-care. Companies are opting out of providing their employees with healthcare insurance. Less clinics, less hospitals, and less doctors means less access to healthcare.
This is why 2014 is going to be a significant election year in the US congress. Already Democrats are asking for changes in Obama-care because they sense a citizen's rebellion at the voting box.
I believe Democrats and Republican bums alike need to be thrown out of office. Democrats choose poor ethics when they rushed to pass Obama-care. Republicans scuff at the beginning, but give the president everything he wants at the end.
Together, the president and congress, have added 9 trillion dollars to the national debt. This is unmanageable debt. This debt interferes with economic growth and job growth. Americans are going to have to show they can choose good leaders and that they are able to control their leaders.
Now, the president and democrats in congress are saying it may be time to delay the individual mandate. I say it is time to completely repeal and replace.

Americans Hating America Is Not Going To Help
However, today we see is that all this president has done is attack the American way of life. During the beginning of his national political career, this president spoke badly of American business people. He was of the impression that Wall Street caused the problem and business people needed to be reigned in
We have had to listen to the rhetoric that successful people didn’t “built it”, implying that if it was not for infrastructure none of the successful would of succeeded. Doesn’t this president realize that successful people pay the majority of taxes? Therefore, they paid for the infrastructure and did “build it”.
I have had two interesting conversations. One was with a business owner who is trying to establish his business in Mexico. I told him, as I tell everyone, that all Mexicans got together and decided to destroy their country. Mexicans accomplished this destruction with their apathy and immoral and unethical behavior such as bribing police and bribing tax collectors.
I warned this person that America is at the same crossroad that led Mexicans to choose “doing their own thing because everyone else is corrupt’. Today, many Americans have a bad attitude about politicians, businesses, and the American way of life.
The other man was from Belgium. He told me that he came to America because he did not like having to settle for what Socialism offered. For example, Socialism offers a one-bedroom apartment. He wanted to live in a mansion. Therefore, he came to a country were a person could have what he or she is willing to work for in life.
I know that the agenda driven liberal news has brainwashed many into hating their own country. I write a lot about choosing a Positive attitude over a Negative attitude. The negative view that many have of their own country is because this liberal media has convinced them that America is a bad place.
This idea of a “bad America’ is reinforced by life. Many people are trying to work and coming up empty. This reinforces the idea that America is bad. News of political corruption reinforces the idea that America is bad. Road Rage and our neighbor leaving his or her garbage can loose so it can be tossed around by the wind and litter the neighborhood reinforces the idea America is bad. Everyone of our personal failures reinforces the idea that America is bad.
Therefore, “Everything sucks. Nothing works. Why bother?” is the prevailing attitude? After my conversation with one of the men, one said that it was hard to believe that “one vote” could make a difference. It appeared to me that this man was trying to excuse his apathy. The person who came from a Socialist experience knew exactly what I was talking about that day.
If we spend our time looking at the bad, we will enter that dark corner of despair and hopelessness. I know we wanted the idea of getting an education and finding a high paying career to work out. That is the reason I got a college degree.
However, to a certain extent America does not work. Employers have a very poor attitude towards their workers. Citizens have a poor attitude about their fellow citizens.
I believe that a person should use his or her creativity and be innovative in finding a good income. However, many employers treat their employees like slaves. They work these employees around the clock without a set schedule. It is impossible to manage a life when you do not know when you are going to have to work.
Moreover, people who were displaced did not loose their industry knowledge. For a time I thought people could be private consultants. The truth is that buyers of consultant services pay to little.
Therefore, being creative and innovative runs you into a wall of poor attitude, harsh working conditions, and low pay. It is almost as if it is not worth trying.
The first Americans did not have it easy. They had to start from scratch. There were no “shovel ready jobs” to rely on in their day.
Yet, out of nothing these first Americans laid the foundation for the greatest country in the world. Then the liberal news media spent many decades working at killing the American Spirit.
Now people do not believe in them selves and they do not believe in their country. This lack of respect for the American way of life is not going to get us far.
There is no problem with:”personal responsibility” and “self-reliance”. Freedom, Liberty, and Indolence have fueled innovation and creativity since the beginning of the American experience.
You are right that there is a lot wrong in life. It is even true that a lot does not work.
I have to ask. Do you work? Do you have the ability to “think”, “organize”, “plan”, and “act”? Can you be Optimistic, Positive, and Realistic even when things look bleak?
Life is not about lamenting broken promises. Life is about making the best out of what you have, even when you find your self in difficult circumstances.
The American experience is great and simple. People find a way to afford and enjoy life. Government respects the taxpayer by keeping taxes low and administrating the people’s money honestly. The people make sure government does what is supposed to in life. We are failing. Government is falling. However, the only people we can control are our selves. Therefore, we have to will our selves to be people who can see the good in ourselves, have a positive attitude about work, work, and keep politicians in line.
Life is attitude. Attitude is related to perception. A major reason many believe ‘everything sucks. Nothing works. Why bother?” is because the liberal news has convinced them all these things are true.

Rebuilding The US: Rebuilding Our Self.
We should not feel that there is no reason to have hope when we keep finding rejection. I operate a Taxi, 11 to ten hours a day 28 to 29 days out of the month. My hope was to earn a PhD in psychology.
