Obamacare: Time To Repeal And Replace

The insurance companies in my opinion are the beginning of the healthcare debate. Before healthcare one has to confront an insurance company.

Certain healthcare experiences are to expensive for a person to pay for them him or her self. Therefore, a person is convinced that he or she needs health insurance.

The insurance industry has had many public relations problems. Many times these companies have violated the terms of the contract and denied the legitimate claims of the policy holder.

My big problem with Obama-care is that it forces me in to a business relationship with an industry I do not trust. I have seen reports of criminal behavior by insurance companies and through my personal experiences I have seen corrupt insurance companies.

Now, I do not have a problem with Freedom and the Free Market. In America a person is free to make a business and run it any way he or she feels it is correct. This does not mean I have to put up with their corruption.

I have done my healthcare cost evaluation. A doctor's visit would cost me approximately $100. Lab work would cost me approximately $500. Therefore, an annual health exam would cost me around $600. I am not a sickly person. I see no reason where I would encounter catastrophic healthcare situation.

In fact, the majority of people are just like me and will go through the majority of their lives without any major healthcare concerns. The percentage of people needing prolonged and extensive healthcare is around 25%.

Now insurance for me, in my market, would cost around $200 a month, with a $5000 deductible. Therefore, I would pay and insurance company $2400 a year for the honor of paying $600 myself for an annual healthcare exam.

Okay, I understand that I would also be made to make a contribution to someone else healthcare expenses. Now if I am going to be paying for someone’ else healthcare expenses, do I get to tell them how to live?

Hospitals cost money. Most experience hospitals after an emergency. The high cost of hospital care is explained in the of providing nurses, technology, labs, janitors, cooks, and every other service associated with a functioning hospital. Again, the majority of Americans will not be hospitalized in their lifetime.

I believe we can save and pay for our own healthcare exam. A doctors visit, labs, and technology-based exams may cost us 2000 a years. For most people this price is manageable.

The problem is life management. People do not factor in the cost of healthcare when they are building their lives. People make babies and do not consider the cost of childbirth. People also do not factor in healthcare for a developing child.

In my opinion, the problem in healthcare in America was politicians, immature citizens, greedy and corrupt healthcare providers. For decades the plight of the poor has been sung by certain politicians. Many people are convinced they should not have to pay for their healthcare. Crimes committed by insurance companies have contributed to a lack of trust.

Now, we have a total take over of healthcare in America by Obama-care. This take over was supposed to give access to affordable healthcare to the poor and indigent. These groups amounted to less than 15% of the American population. The 600 million Obama wasted on his healthcare website could of taken care of these poor and indigent people’s healthcare for ten years. Therefore, the goal of Obama could not of been to help the poor.

Obama could of tried a program of healthcare grants to states to provide healthcare for the poor. Obama could of tried tax breaks for doctors, clinics, and hospitals who provide healthcare to the poor. Obama could of tried discount cards for the poor that the poor could use to buy medications, lab works, and hospitalization at a reduced price.

Everyone else would get their healthcare in the private industry at regular prices. The free market fuels innovation and creativity. New procedures, new technologies, and new medicine are created by people interested in making a profit.

There isn't anything wrong with making a profit. There isn't anything wrong with being personally responsible for our healthcare.

Healthcare in the Free Market is a better system. Providers have to keep their customers happy. Prices would reflect what the customer is willing to pay: Not an artificial government controlled low price or an over inflated insurance price.

We the consumers are caught been the greedy who want to bleed us to death and the politicians who also want to bleed us to death. Now, we have no control over insurance companies poor behavior. Obama is forcing us all into a business relationship with insurance companies. An incentive for improvement is loosing customers.

However, we are going to loose access to healthcare. Many doctors are choosing not to participate in Obama-care. Companies are opting out of providing their employees with healthcare insurance. Less clinics, less hospitals, and less doctors means less access to healthcare.

This is why 2014 is going to be a significant election year in the US congress. Already Democrats are asking for changes in Obama-care because they sense a citizen's rebellion at the voting box.

I believe Democrats and Republican bums alike need to be thrown out of office. Democrats choose poor ethics when they rushed to pass Obama-care. Republicans scuff at the beginning, but give the president everything he wants at the end.

Together, the president and congress, have added 9 trillion dollars to the national debt. This is unmanageable debt. This debt interferes with economic growth and job growth. Americans are going to have to show they can choose good leaders and that they are able to control their leaders.

Now, the president and democrats in congress are saying it may be time to delay the individual mandate. I say it is time to completely repeal and replace.
